Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun is a sci-fi real time strategy game developed by Westwood Studios and released in 1999, as one of the many chapters of the popular Command & Conquer series. In 2010, ten years after its first release, Electronic Arts licensed Tiberian Sun as freeware. Version: 2.1.14. Awesome application to play your favorite Windows games, without needing Bootcamp or virtual machine. The app contains loads of free games like Red Alert, GTA2, C&C Tiberian Sun and many many others. Only for those this app should be on your Mac. The game database contains over 600 ports when writing this review.JoinedOct 10, 2004Messages28Reaction score0Points1LocationLiverpool, UKYour Mac’s Specs 17’ 1.5ghz PB,1gb RAM,64mb ATI,80gb HD+PowerMac G4 867mhz,640mb RAM,60gb HD+AirPort xpress+15gb Ipod Anyone from Aspyr out there?
Why don’t you release Tiberian Sun for the Mac. Its older than C&C Generals but still has a lot of interest in the PC world on EA’s online servers. I still play it! I have to use a 1ghz Sony Vaio with horrible Windows to play it and would much rather use the PowerBook.
And if you guys do release it, Make it so you can create a random map and make it so you can play PC owners over the internet! I think these things were missing in the Mac version of C&C generals.
I guess if Aspyr had put in PC/Mac networking on C&C Generals the PCs would have slowed the connection down but Tiberian Sun, being old, would connect faster across the platforms.
Also, could anyone in this forum who would also like to see Tiberian Sun on the Mac post a reply, and if there’s enough interest I couldl email the contents of the thread to Aspyr.. :biohazardCreated byToreFilesize63 MBVersion3.0 beta 12 Revision 10InstallerDescription
